Sid Dutta is Co-Founder and Advisor. Sid Dutta brings over 22 years of broad experience in high performance analog design and development at industry leaders and startups. Sid has personally designed and supervised over 26 integrated circuits in mass production in CMOS, BiCMOS, BCD and SiGe processes.
Prior to joining Omni Design, Sid was Design Director at Silicon Labs leading low-power analog design activities in the Sunnyvale design center. Between 2010 and 2014, Sid was Executive Director at Touchstone, leading development of nano-power analog integrated circuits. Prior to Touchstone, Sid was at Maxim Integrated for 10 years, where, as Design Director in the optical connectivity group, he led Maxim’s activity in high speed signal integrity solutions for copper backplanes, optical links and digital video.
Prior to Maxim Integrated, Sid designed a variety of high performance circuits for hard disk drive read channel and motor control at ST microelectronics and NXP (formerly Philips semiconductors). Sid started his career in 1993 at the Semiconductor Complex Ltd. (SCL). While at SCL, he worked on integrated circuit solutions targeted to automotive and healthcare applications for the indian market.
Sid obtained his B.S. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Delhi Institute of Technology (now NSIT) with distinctions, New Delhi, India in 1993.
