Omni Design’s protocol and data rate agnostic re-driver IP offers a low power, low complexity alternative to traditional clock and data recovery based high speed serial interface for transmission over copper cable or FR4 PCB material. Our equalization and pre-emphasis IP is modular, designed to work with on chip termination for a solution that is easy to integrate and low power. The re-driver can compensate for losses in cable as well as FR4 PCB trace. The unique architecture allows easy re-configuration of a channel as TX or RX as needed by the user. We offer several IP blocks including:

- Low power copper cable Re-Driver
- Low power standalone output Pre-Emphasis driver
- Low power standalone input Equalizer
We offer our IP in various process nodes including 28nm and 40nm CMOS as well as SiGe BiCMOS.
