Pankaj Mayor

Executive Vice President of Global Sales, Arteris IP

​Pankaj Mayor is currently Executive Vice President of Global Sales at Arteris IP. He is currently advising Omni Design Technologies in Sales, Business Development and Marketing.

Previously Pankaj was Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Omni Design. Prior to that he was Vice President of Marketing/CMO at ANSYS with responsibility for worldwide marketing and strategic partnerships. He setup royalty generating OEM partnerships across the product development lifecycle by embedding ANSYS products within solutions offered by companies such as PTC, SAP and Synopsys. Prior to that he was Vice President of Corporate Business Development at GLOBALFOUNDRIES with responsibility for driving their China strategy, new business opportunities, technology partnerships and ecosystem alliances.  He sourced, structured and negotiated a $9.6 billion deal with Chengdu government to establish a majority owned JV in China to build and operate a fab.

Previously, Pankaj was Vice President of Marketing/CMO at Cadence Design Systems. As part of the executive management team at Cadence, he helped transform Cadence into a market leader. He joined Cadence in 2002 through the acquisition of Simplex Solutions and held various management positions in sales and marketing, including responsibility for alliances throughout the electronics ecosystem including foundries, IP and ASIC suppliers, EDA companies, industry associations and standards bodies. Mr. Mayor also served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO of Cadence. He has also previously served in marketing and engineering management roles at Simplex Solutions Inc. and at Synopsys, Inc.

Pankaj has led the creation and deployment of key industry initiatives such as the OpenAccess Coalition and the Power Forward Initiative – driving broad industry participation and growth of these innovative programs and creating long term business value. Pankaj also served as a member of the Board of Directors at Silicon Integration Initiative and Power.org. 

He earned a master’s degree in computer engineering from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India
